Bruce Springsteen Born to Run

We’ve all been there. You’re staring at your phone like it just insulted your mama, desperately trying to come up with something—anything—to post. But your creativity seems to be in another zip code. The left brain has taken over. What can you do?

First, realize you’re not alone. It happens to the best of us. No matter how well you plan, some days the creative juices just aren’t flowing. Bruce Springsteen can’t write Born to Run every day. Salvador Dalí wasn’t painting The Persistence of Memory on a Tuesday morning between emails. And Marvel… well, okay, maybe Marvel is cranking out a new superhero movie every week. But you get the point.

When your brain feels like a broken coffee maker, these five tried-and-true post ideas can keep your feed alive and your followers engaged:

1. Throwback Time Machine
Dig up an old photo of your business, your first logo, or that time the whole team worked from one tiny office. Add a “Look how far we’ve come!” caption, and you’ve got yourself instant engagement with a side of nostalgia.

2. Product in the Wild
Show your product or service being used in real life. If a customer tags you, share it (with permission). No tags? Stage a fun, candid photo out in the world—ditch the boring “flat lay” stock photo look.

3. Customer Love
Got a review that made you feel like a rockstar? Share it with a lighthearted caption—something like, “We’re blushing 😳.” A little social proof goes a long way.

4. Employee Spotlights
Not a one-man band? Shine a light on the people who make your business tick. Share their fun facts, quirks, or talents. Keep it casual—no corporate bios, please.

5. Pull Away the Curtain
People crave authenticity. Show the behind-the-scenes chaos—messy desks, coffee-fueled brainstorms, your team attempting IKEA assembly with four leftover screws. It’s messy. It’s real. It’s relatable.

So next time your creative spark takes a personal or mental health day, don’t panic. Just pull out this list, pick a post, and keep it moving. Social media isn’t about perfection—it’s about connection. And sometimes, the most human posts are the ones people remember.

Now go on—post something.

It’s Up To You!
